The ATD Dallas AXIS Awards recognize outstanding learning and talent development work across the DFW community. As a long-standing signature event, the awards highlight innovative programs, measurable impact, and the teams and partnerships behind them.

In 2026, the AXIS Awards will be celebrated as part of the Southwest Learning Summit (SWLS), bringing together an even broader community of talent development professionals to honor this incredible work.

ABOUT THE APPLICATION:

Everybody is welcome to register to apply for the 2026 AXIS Awards. The pricing is as follows:

Members: Free
Non-Members: $75 application fee per submission
Vendor/Partners applying with their client: $150 application fee per submission

Once registration is complete and payment has been processed, an email containing the application link will be sent to the registered contact.

We highly recommend that the contact person create a login profile in Formsite to be able to save progress and return to the application as needed.

Completed Applications must be submitted by June 15, 2026.

AXIS Awards Ceremony

The 2026 AXIS Awards Ceremony will take place on September 29, 2026, during a special lunch celebration at the Southwest Learning Summit (SWLS). Award winners will be recognized in front of the broader Southwest Learning Summit community, bringing together hundreds of learning and talent development professionals from across the DFW.

Most L&D teams are hyper‑focused on the price tag of e‑learning authoring tools and ignore the real elephant in the room: developer time and friction. In this session, Mike Stein shares data from a multi‑tool build‑off where a 6‑hour Storyline course was recreated in under 90 minutes with modern cloud‑based authoring tools, using the same storyboard and assets. You’ll see how the research quantifies the “monopoly tax” in extra clicks, keystrokes, scrolls, and frustration, and how to choose tools based on workflow, accessibility, maintenance needs, and long‑term ROI instead of habit or “industry standards.”

He has been a keynote speaker at the HR Congress, Columbia Coaching Conference, and CWI Digital Transformation events in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. He has also appeared on the HR Leaders and People Managing People Podcasts. Dr. Swanagon was previously the Head of HR for Saudi Aramco's Technical Services Business Line. A seasoned public speaker and trainer, she has delivered in-person and virtual sessions for more than three decades, with over 20 years of expertise in virtual speaking and training facilitation. Since 1998, Chris has taught undergraduate, graduate, and training courses online. Deadline Information

Registration forms should be submitted as soon as possible. The deadline is September 16, 2026 or until all exhibit space has been filled, whichever comes first. If you have questions, please send them to info@tddallas.org.

Payment Information

If you must pay by check, then it will need to be mailed to the ATD Dallas office within 96 hours of the time you receive of our approval email. Mail to: ATD Dallas, 14070 Proton Rd., Suite 100, LB9, Dallas, TX 75244, 972-233-9107 ext 224.

*Fulfillment of the sponsor package begins when payment has cleared.

Cancellation Information

If you need to cancel your sponsorship or exhibit booth at any time, please call the ATD Dallas office at 972-233-9107 x224. Fees will be refunded, less a $50 administration fee, if cancellation is received by September 01, 2025. After that time, no refunds will be issued.
