The Intentional Job Search or Career Plan: Creating a Project Plan
Monday, October 26, 2015
Facilitator: Laurie Barnett
PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW LOCATION AND TIME!
Do you feel like it’s tough to make progress in your career?
Maybe you have a job, but you’re looking towards the next step. You’re busy, both professionally and personally. Doing anything to advance your career is low priority – if it happens at all, it feels almost accidental.
On the other hand, perhaps you’re out of work. You have time, but it’s hard to know how to spend it productively. You feel like you’re not making progress. Everything seems to be out of your control.
Whatever situation you’re in, you need a structured plan for career growth. You need a map with recognizable milestones. You need to spend your time effectively. You need an intentional career project plan.
Attend this workshop to learn how to create a successful project plan and measure your progress.
About the facilitator:
Laurie Barnett has been an Embedded Performance Consultant and Training Developer at Dell Services for the past two and a half years. As a result of her job searches for her last two jobs, she developed the Career Development SIG as a way to help others conduct their own job searches and/or career progression more effectively.
