Game Your System: Use Gamification to Leverage Motivation to Encourage Behavior Change
Monday, November 23, 2015
Facilitator: Julie Mitchell

PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW LOCATION AND TIME!

Learn how to:

  • Stimulate job search to encourage action and improve results
  • Transform poor performance through engaging challenges
  • Explore ways to incentivize behavior change for multiple generations
  • Unlock learner engagement and increase skill development
  • Achieve an Epic Win with low and high tech methods

Gamification applies the engaging mechanics of video games (status, competition, achievements, and collaboration) to non-game activities. This mix motivates and engages participants, employees, or consumers.

About the facilitator:

Julie Mitchell designs and develops strategic training. Her expertise increased revenue and talent development for 3 of the 20 largest companies in North Texas. Julie Mitchell's passion for learner retention and engagement is evident in her research, training and honors.

Gamification caught her eye during Jane McGonigal’s TED talk. While exploring ways gamification can change habits, Julie found and took Monica Cornetti’s Sententia Gamification course. Julie Mitchell gamified her job search and weight loss programs with great success. She looks forward to encouraging you to achieve success too.
