What IS good training design?

There are numerous models and approaches to designing training. But what makes one program better than another?  What is the gold standard for good design?

• Is it the level of engagement?
• Is it about using blended learning?
• Does it involve gaming?
• What about simulations and role plays?

In this session you’ll quickly design a new hire training program and compare all designs to the gold standard you MUST meet for your design to be effective.  

Jeff Persaile is a CPLP and Past President of the Dallas ATD Chapter. He is currently a Training Manager at Nationstar Mortgage and has extensive experience as an Instructional Designer,  Facilitator and LMS Manager. Jeff had his own training consulting practice for 12 years and is currently conducting research into a cure for the perfectionist gene in T&D Professionals.
