The Work of Leaders: Bridging the Chasm from Idea to Implementation

Friday, April 28th, 2017 @ 11:30am
Facilitator: Julie Chance

An estimated 66% of corporate ideas are never executed and as many as 90% of well-planned strategies fail. Clearly it takes more than a good idea or strong strategy to realize results. Using the framework of Vision, Alignment and Execution, we will explore how leaders at all levels can engage, energize and mobilize their team to bridge the chasm from idea to implementation and achieve the results they desire. After this session, learners will be able to:

  • Discover the leadership best practices required to bridge the chasm from idea to implementation

  • Explore ways to shift your leadership style to meet the needs of the situation

  • Identify tangible steps to align your team around a common vision.

About the facilitator:

With over three decades of consulting, training, and most importantly, real-life, business experience, leadership and team development expert Julie Chance, president of Action-Strategies-By-Design, brings to the table not only her proficiency in strategy and operations, but also her acute understanding of human behavior and interaction. Julie has a passion for learning and a knack for bringing her learning to life for others by creating elegant yet simple explanations for complex concepts.

Prior to starting her own consulting, coaching & training business in 2002, Julie spent 18 years in the behavioral health field in a variety of positions from regional director of marketing to Vice President of Consulting. She is also currently on the faculty of the DFW Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program,
