Not-Your-Boss' Coaching Techniques
Friday, May 19th, 2017 @ 11:30am - 12:30pm
Facilitator: Bob Britton
If you coach people (and you should be, regardless if you’re a people leader or not), you probably coach the way you were coached. A lot has changed in the coaching world, and we’ll discuss how to get commitment from people when coaching, rather than just cooperation or, worse, compliance. Coaching is also the single most effective activity a sales organization can engage in to positively impact sales. Come and get a brief overview of coaching with Bob, and start exploring how you can significantly impact your organization. After this session, learners will be able to:
-
Understand the misconceptions around coaching
-
Learn that coaching is a long conversation with many discussions
-
Expand their ideas about where coaching can be applied
-
Learn how to follow-up properly on coaching conversations
