Are you considering changing jobs? Are you already in transition? Or, have you landed at your dream job!? If so, you can’t neglect your LinkedIn profile! Join Jed Gifford and Robert Bee on February 26th from 6:30 to 8:00 at SMU in Plano to get the skinny on making sure your LinkedIn profile is ready for anything! We’ll share tips and tricks to make your profile pops to attract recruiters! We’ll also touch on what other opportunities await with your basic and premium account! PLUS, we’ll take the time to go through your profile and give you feedback on what changes you could possibly make to get the right person to view your profile!
About the facilitators:
Jed Gifford is a resourceful, conscientious and enthusiastic talent management and multi-platform communications leader with more than 15 years of sustainable difference-making experience in journalism, talent acquisition, training and overall professional development. After graduating from The University of Texas in Austin, he has spent the past two decades in the following diverse industries: Broadcast Television, Commercial Real Estate, Automotive Retail and HVAC/Refrigeration. Jed has an innate ability to network, build and coach teams with strong interpersonal and written skills, the drive to sell and manage multiple projects at any given time and add measurable value while achieving business objectives through relationship building, persuasion and confidentiality. He believes you should determine “What’s Your Sizzle Factor” and that the “Candidate Experience should ultimately lead to a profitable Employee Experience.” Jed lives in Dallas with his wife Cherie and daughter Avery and volunteers his time with Habitat for Humanity.
Robert is a lifelong learner who possesses a penchant for leadership and team development as well as personal improvement strategies. He retired from the Army in 2012 after a 21-year career where he held numerous positions that included Tank Commander, Platoon Sergeant, Equal Opportunity Advisor, Department of Defense Mediation Specialist, Deployable Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention Specialist, Unit Victim Advocate, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training Trainer, and Master Resilience Trainer. Robert is a graduate of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute and possesses a BA in Social Science and an MS in Training and Development.

You are welcome to arrive early to network and get settled prior to the start of the meeting.
All members of ATD Dallas are welcome to attend any SIG any time at no charge. Non-members are welcome to join us for up to 2 complimentary sessions. After that, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will need to join ATD Dallas by paying annual dues of $115.
