Are you currently looking for a new job? Perhaps you’re considering venturing into the talent development field! Or, perhaps you recently landed the job you’ve always been looking for! In either case, there are things you should consider (and do!), so what better way to find out what those things are than to talk to the pros! Our panel members will share their best practices for each scenario to assist you with planning your career path and goals! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to finally ask those burning questions you’ve been wondering about!
About the panel members:
Laurie Barnett is a contractor specializing in eLearning development and training coordination. She recently completed 4.5 years as a Performance Consultant and eLearning developer for Dell/NTT DATA Services. As a result of her job searches for her previous two jobs, she founded the ATD Dallas Career Development SIG to help others conduct their own job searches and drive their career progression more effectively.
Lorraine Howard is the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner for Cardinal Health’s Regulatory Sciences, Healthcare Analytics Marketing and Communication (HAMC), and SonexusTM businesses and is based in Lewisville, TX. She brings over 20 years of human resources experience working in the various areas within the healthcare industry. Her career experience includes serving in several capacities including HR Director responsibilities for Supply Chain, Medical Manufacturing Operations and Customer Care Centers as well as leading the Enterprise Learning Delivery team for several years. Lorraine is PHR and SHRM-CP certified and holds a BBA in HR Management and an MBA from The University of Texas at El Paso.
Bob has 20+ years of experience in the fields of electronics, sales, and training. He is presently the Director of Sales L&D at NTT DATA, and his team is responsible for improving the performance of the sales group by directly impacting the behavior of sellers and sales leaders. Bob has an MBA in Global Business, is originally from Boston, and is a die-hard fan of two baseball teams – the Red Sox, and any team that’s playing against the Yankees.

All members of ATD Dallas are welcome to attend any SIG any time at no charge. Non-members are welcome to join us for up to 2 complimentary sessions. After that, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will need to join ATD Dallas by paying annual dues of $115.
