BRIEF DESCRIPTION


Although groups have been around for centuries, it has only been in recent decades that we have truly discovered the power of collective wisdom. What happens in small groups in multiple areas of our society has proven to be quite effective and, in some cases, quite powerful. Looking for your new adventure can be lonely and daunting so why go it alone? Let’s explore the value of conducting your job search in the context of a structured group process such as group coaching.


KEY OBJECTIVES


During this time, you’ll learn how to:

  • Understand the impact of digital mediums on job searching
  • Understand the benefit of groups in job search by examining the efficacy of group coaching
  • Explore the various group options available to you


ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Using evidenced-based coaching methodologies, Dr. Pam Van Dyke has coached individuals, teams and groups in a variety of capacities and has done so both face-to-face and virtually. Pam’s diverse background in behavioral health, Fortune 500 companies and academia, provides her with a unique and rich blend to understand the needs of others and the complex dynamics in which they find themselves. Additionally, for the past 29 years, Pam has been an Adjunct Professor at several universities, teaching both virtually and on campus. Currently, she teaches part time at Southern Methodist University – Cox School of Business Executive Education located in Dallas, Texas. Pam is the author of 3 books and several articles in the area of coaching.

  • IMPORTANT: Secondary registration via Zoom is necessary.  Click the link in the confirmation email to complete the registration process.
  • You will then receive a confirmation email from Zoom that will include options to download the meeting to your calendar and the actual Join Meeting link.
