Results include improved effectiveness and performance, and an organizational culture that leads to better employee retention and specifically, continuity in work streams, and reduced costs for recruiting, hiring and training new employees. Yet despite the tangible benefits, few companies intentionally train their managers in this vital skill.
Join us for this interactive and dynamic session to learn how to turn those “empathy weaklings” into the Mr. and Mrs. Olympia of the management world!

• Apply an understanding of empathy’s value to the bottom line to foster a healthy and collaborative work environment.
• Develop an empathy workout/training regimen that can be seamlessly incorporated into existing training.
• Help managers effectively lead their teams, retain good employees and maintain productivity even in times of crisis.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Eric Girard has over 30 years of experience helping improve the performance of managers and employees. He specializes in the development of new managers, focusing on their successful transition to their new role and on their team management skills. He has a high-energy and engaging facilitation style.
Eric is a passionate, lifelong learner. He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer pursuing the rating of IDC Staff Instructor. When not designing or delivering training, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and twin 15-year-old daughters.
