Summer Help Cleaning Our Parks & Rec

Looking to hang out with some folks from ATD Dallas and give back to the local community? Then this is the event for you!
Join us for our first Community Engagement Event! Saturday, June 21st is the first day of Summer and this event provides a great way for ATD Dallas members to give back to our community. After spending the morning helping to clean up a local parks and rec area, considering grabbing lunch with the other attendees afterwards!
Parks & Rec will provide needed materials. Attendees need to bring gloves, rakes, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. ATD Dallas will have coolers at each location filled with iced down water.
LOCATIONS DETAILS
The Community Engagement Committee will be spread out across Dallas to hopefully be close to where you live. Select the location that works best for you! We are able to welcome up to 40 volunteers at each location.
- Dallas: White Rock Lake Winfred Point
- Frisco: Trails along Cotton Wood Creek
- Lewisville: Prairie Creek area
- Plano: Roadway along Spring Creek and Coit
EVENT TIMING / WHERE TO MEET
8:00 - 11:00 AM - Lewisville Event
- Meet at Home Depot (901 N Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville, TX 75067) on the west end of the parking lot (opposite IH-35)
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Dallas, Frisco, & Plano Events
- Dallas: Meet at the Winfred Point parking lot
- Frisco: Meet at the Dollar Tree (5133 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco)
- Plano: Meet at Walmart (6000 Coit Road, Plano)
Post Event
- Enjoy Lunch with the ATD Crew (optional and at your own expense)
VOLUNTEER RELEASE FORM / WAIVER
- You MUST complete the appropriate release form in order to participate
- Each location/city has its own form
- Please print, complete, and bring with you to the event
- Form Links: Dallas, Frisco, Lewisville, Plano
REGISTRATION COST
No cost to members or non-members … just provide us with your time and effort.
GUESTS
You are welcome to bring a friend or family member(s) along. You need to add them to your registration as a Guest. They will need to complete the release form to participate as well.
