Topic: Overcoming Trainer Obstacles: Bring Your Horror Stories!
What are some of the worst things that have happened during your work in the training and development world?!? Seriously! We want to know!
- Did you show up at the Denver hotel, ready to train 50 managers on how to use the new policy and procedure manual, only to discover their 50 copies of the manual were shipped to New York?
- Did everyone in your online event get “kicked out” of the online 1.5 hour training event … and have to dial back in … 4 times?
- Have you ever shown up on the wrong date, “too late”?
Now that the horror is over, you can probably laugh about it. We want to laugh with you! And learn from you, too.
How did you handle the situation at that moment? How would you handle it if it happened again today? (Perhaps we can offer you some ideas, too.)
In addition to sharing some good stories, we’ll do some old-fashioned brainstorming of topics for future meetings.

All members of Dallas ASTD are welcome to attend any SIG any time. All non-members please feel free to join us for up to 2 sessions at a SIG. After 2 sessions, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will be expected to join Dallas ASTD by paying the annual dues of $115.
