The discussion will cover several points and you will be able to take a brief knowledge exam and see an example of a work product.  Discussion points will include:

Credentials:  Why do I need them?

Process:  What is the process?

Lessons Learned:  Do I need a study group?

Proof:  Is it in the pudding?

About the speaker
Barbara Ashbaugh, CPLP, has facilitated the CPLP Study Groups for the past three years. Her participants have an extremely high pass rate for both the knowledge exam and the work product.  Barb is intimately familiar with the knowledge exam as she has sat on a panel with the National Institute to design the questions for the test.  Come and quiz yourself and see if the CPLP is for you.

All members of Dallas ASTD are welcome to attend any SIG any time. All non-members please feel free to join us for up to two sessions at a SIG. After two sessions, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will be expected to join Dallas ASTD by paying the annual dues of $115.
