BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Leadership development often feels like a tradeoff: results or relationships—and rarely practical enough to stick.
This interactive, fast-paced session introduces a simpler approach: delivering results + relationships + practicality at the same time.
In the first half, you’ll explore a clear framework for connecting leadership behaviors directly to performance outcomes. In the second half, you’ll apply it—working in small groups with Ridiculously Practical Leadership to identify your most important results, diagnose the #1 leadership skill that will drive them, and define immediate next steps using a practical coaching model—learning as much from your peers as from the content.
This is not a lecture—it’s a fun, lively, hands-on working session designed to help you walk away with a simple, actionable plan you can use right away.
Objectives:
- Integrate results, relationships, and practicality by using a simple framework that aligns leadership behavior with real-world performance outcomes.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact results so leadership development efforts are directly tied to what matters most now.
- Pinpoint the #1 leadership skill that drives impact by diagnosing the highest-leverage behavior for achieving those results.
- Translate insight into action by applying a practical coaching model to build an immediate, scalable next-step plan.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Nathan Magnuson is the creator of Leadership-in-a-Box®, a training partner providing "ridiculously practical" off-the-shelf programs for high performing organizations. Nathan previously served as a talent development leader at several Fortune 500 organizations and served in the U.S. Army Special Operations. Nathan is also the author of the new book Ridiculously Practical Leadership.
