Career Development SIG: Resume Tuning: Does Yours Need Some?

How fine-tuned is your current resume for the audience you want to reach? Are you using a style, flow and words that clearly brand you, capture your audience and are succinct? Let’s together:

• Clearly define our audience and purpose
• Exchange our resumes and examples
• Get and give feedback in light of our target audience
• Develop a vision and an action item list on what enhancements are needed

Whether you are actively looking for a new job, new clients or not, keeping a resume fresh, relevant and current is an asset.

This will be an interactive session. Bring a printed copy of your resume as well as a clear purpose for what you want to achieve with your resume. Feel free to bring your computer as well if you’d like to use it to make this a working session.

Kelli Ciatto, Vice President, Senior Consultant with Right Management, is a leader and career coach. She partners with leaders and professionals to increase effectiveness, improve communication skills, assimilate into new and increased roles, find authentic ways to lead, make successful career transitions and manage overused strengths. Her background includes corporate technical and business project management as well as leadership development.

All members of ATD Dallas are welcome to attend any SIG any time at no charge. Non-members are welcome to join us for up to 2 complimentary sessions. After that, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will need to join ATD Dallas by paying annual dues of $115.
