Career Development SIG: Your First 90 Days

The first days in a new position are critical.  In fact, your real start date is the minute you accept a new position.  So what should you do in the first 90 days to set yourself up for success?  In this workshop we’ll look at some key strategies for ensuring an effective transition to your new role and / or new company.  By the end of the session, you will be ready to develop your own 90-day Action Plan that will ensure everyone is aligned around a common definition of what success looks like, provide you with confidence for the path forward, and set you up for ongoing success in your new role.

About the facilitator:

Susan Brookshire is known for being a results-driven business partner. She has created and implemented impactful leadership, management and professional development workshops for several organizations.

Susan currently works as a Career Consultant for the University of Texas at Dallas. As 2014 ATD Dallas chapter President, she had to hit the ground running in order to quickly make a meaningful impact on our chapter.

All members of ATD Dallas are welcome to attend any SIG any time at no charge. Non-members are welcome to join us for up to 2 complimentary sessions. After that, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will need to join ATD Dallas by paying annual dues of $115.
