You want to write stories for training that resonate with your audience and meet learning objectives. Perhaps you're designing a series eLearning modules that need a story to hold it together. Or developing a virtual learning experience that needs just the right plot. Or maybe you want a story for a live training session. Whatever your story needs are, there's a great solution for storytelling, and it doesn't have to be as time consuming as you might think. If you are looking for a methodical way to create characters your learners can relate to and involve them in a plot that will align to learning objectives, this master class series is for you. Experience the power of storytelling for yourself, then learn how to create it. Each step of the process—Discover, Design and Deliver—is supported with coaching, deliberate practice and immediate feedback. Offer your own expertise to the conversation and learn from others during the webinars. Walk away with tools, job aids and confidence. A knowledge of ID is helpful, but not necessary.
Each of the three sessions focuses on one step of the Story Design methodology: Discover, Design and Deliver. Complete short assignments between sessions to solidify what you’ve learned. You will:
• Discover relatable characters and strong conflict through analysis of a learner profile and performance objectives.
• Design a story premise and a plot that concretely connects to learning.
• Deliver the story using tools you already own.

Where: This is a series of three online sessions, using Adobe Connect. You will receive session materials and a link to join the online session a few days before the session begins. Sessions will be recorded for participants and available for up to 60 days after the last session.
