Networking is an important skill to fine-tune at any stage in career development. Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced networker, you will discover and practice the keys to be your best self when networking face-to-face.
In this interactive session, you will learn how to:
- Overcome fear of attending a network event.
- Be aware of do’s and don’ts when networking face-to-face.
- Start a conversation and end it gracefully.
- Remember names.
- Create a dialogue with someone by asking the right questions and listening effectively.
Many other tips and techniques will be shared to help you confidently and successfully attend your next networking event!
About the speaker:
Sally Luttrell is a corporate trainer, facilitator, and executive coach who specializes in communication skills. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked with a variety of companies, nonprofits, and government agencies.
She is currently an active member and volunteer for ATD Dallas Chapter. Sally has also been a member of Toastmasters International for many years.

All members of ATD Dallas are welcome to attend any SIG any time at no charge. Non-members are welcome to join us for up to 2 complimentary sessions. After that, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will need to join ATD Dallas by paying annual dues of $115.
