BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Whether you recently joined ATD Dallas or have been a long-time member, you may have found yourself asking: “how do I get the most out of my membership?” The BEST way is to get involved as a volunteer with the chapter. There are so many ways to lend your talents and work with your community at ATD Dallas. Join this webinar to learn about current opportunities!
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Dana Devlin is serving as ATD Dallas President for 2023-2024. She joined the chapter as a member 2010. In 2012 she was asked to take on the challenge of leading the planning and execution of the 2013 Southwest Learning Summit (SWLS), the chapter’s regional conference. After building an amazing team of the volunteers, the chapter had the most successful SWLS to date.
Dana served as a mentor to the SWLS chairs for a couple of years, before serving as event emcee (2016-2020) and co-chair in 2017. She also was asked to emcee the AXIS Awards ceremony starting in 2016 through 2019 and to judge in 2021. In 2022, Dana served in the role of President Elect and SWLS co-chair.
In 2019, ATD Dallas recognized Dana’s many years of volunteerism by presenting her with the Dee Dick Lifetime Achievement Award. This award was created in 2018. It is the highest honor a volunteer of the chapter can receive based on their many impactful contributions over the years of involvement.
