In this session, we will delve into the fascinating world of neuroscience and provide you with practical ways to help your participants apply the knowledge you share in your training sessions, making your training more effective and engaging.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the three major parts of the brain and their respective functions.
- Learn the difference between the distinct modes of the brain and their influence on learning.
- Learn five effective strategies aimed at enhancing learning retention and fostering a deeper understanding of the material.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Tara Hesson
Tara Hesson is passionate about employee development and focuses her efforts on helping individuals reach their full potential. In her most recent role as the Director of Organizational Development at Hunt Oil Company, she was responsible for leading and managing the succession planning process, conducting talent reviews, redesigning and maintaining performance management, launching and analyzing employee engagement survey results, and facilitating learning and development, including leading and managing high-potential development programs. Before joining Hunt, Tara led training and development in various roles and departments for Intuit, Capital One, and JPMorgan Chase.
Tara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Abilene Christian University, a Master of Business Administration from Angelo State University, and a Master of Science in Organizational Behavior from the University of Texas at Dallas. She obtained an executive coaching certification in 2014 and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Tara lives in Garland with her fur baby, Daisy, and spends her free time traveling, enjoying great food, and going to the theater with family and friends.
