Humanized Virtual Training Workshop

Facilitator: Rance Greene, Story Designer

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Story Design meets virtual training. This workshop focuses on how to efficiently design and deliver action-driven virtual training experiences that learners look forward to. Two 3-hour, action-packed virtual sessions that model the method. You’ll practice the method by designing and delivering a short virtual training session to your peers, with feedback to help take your virtual facilitation to the next level.

Master the humanizing skills of Story Design for virtual training:

  • Analyze and prepare for an action-packed virtual training session.
  • Design and facilitate an experience that respects the learners’ abilities to observe and critically think.
  • Build virtual training using the principles of Discovery & Discussion
  • Flex the power of stories that give learners opportunities to reflect and solve problems.
  • Steer conversations with planned feedback that keeps conversations going.
  • Use simple virtual tools to gather the thoughts of learners and spark dialogue.

Rance is the author of Instructional Story Design, a practical guide for developing stories that train. He coaches, teaches, speaks and writes often on the benefits of stories to connect people to one another.
