BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Business is all about relationships. Especially during job transition, we need to stay positive, watch our word choice and communicate effectively. This session focuses on relationship building by sharing practical strategies for networking, informational interviewing, developing your career 360 system and following up.

KEY OBJECTIVES

During this time, you’ll learn how to:

• Understand key success behaviors in networking
• Learn a three-step process for informational interviewing
• Develop a plan and create a career 360 system

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Alise Isbell, MABC, Write Wise Communications, LLC, President

Alise holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Business Communication. She published articles on effective communication in nationwide business journals and has won many communication-related awards.

Alise was the President of ATD Houston in 2009 and is a member of the International Association for Business Communicators and HR Houston, Women’s Energy Network and NAWBO. She frequently speaks at these organizations.

As an independent business owner, Alise provides instructional design services on any topic. She carefully determines the current needs, defines the goals of training and creates materials to bridge the gap. Alise also delivers instructor-led training courses in person or online in five categories: written, spoken, interpersonal communication, train-the-trainer and microlearning.

• After registering on the website, you will receive a confirmation email from ATD Dallas Chapter. 
• IMPORTANT: Secondary registration via Zoom is necessary.  Click the link in the confirmation email to complete the registration process.
• You will then receive a confirmation email from Zoom that will include options to download the meeting to your calendar and the actual Join Meeting link.
