Best Practices in Blended Learning

Join the Pizza Hut® Training & Development team in learning about their blended learning management training curriculum: LEAD (Leading Excellence And Development).  They will take you through their journey of developing a one system leadership program by:
  • Engaging Franchisee and Equity partners
  • Designing a holistic curriculum including all levels of restaurant management 
  • Creating fun and engaging training
  • Implementation strategy for national launch

You will also be able to tour the Pizza Hut® Academy and get a peak under the tent of how they utilize this facility to inspire their office team to enable success in the field.  We look forward to seeing you in October!

 

Presenters

Trish Baney, Pizza Hut

Trish joined Pizza Hut in 1990 and now serves as a Manager of the Pizza Hut Academy. Having spent time in the Pizza Hut Corporate and License divisions as well as serving as a Training Director for one of our Franchise partners, Trish is well versed in all aspects of Pizza Hut operations. Most recently, Trish lead the design, development, and implementation of our field leadership blended learning curriculum: LEAD. She continues to work on leadership and culture initiatives while providing facilitation for the various Academy programs. Trish resides in McKinney, TX, with her husband and 2 boys. She enjoys music, movies, and college football.

 

Jen Weber, Pizza Hut

 

Jen began her career with Pizza Hut in 1990 as an Assistant Manager and now serves as the Senior Director of Training & Development and Dean of the Pizza Hut Academy. Throughout her tenure, Jen served in several roles including Region Coach and Director of the Restaurant Readiness Team for the four years prior to leading the Academy Team. Jen has been instrumental in the development and execution of several key initiatives including ABR, Heart of the Hut, CORE Boot Camp, and Field Product Boot Camp. She currently resides in Dallas, TX and enjoys playing golf, watching baseball, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.


Tour of the Pizza Hut Training facilities

Pizza Hut is offering to give tours of their training facility during the 5:00 - 6:00 hour next month. The tour lasts about 15 minutes, so they can do 4 groups during the hour. Groups are limited in size (limit to 20 people per group) sign up now by clicking your preferred time when registering for the meeting!
