Learning & Teaching: University vs. Corporate Practices
Jeff Bean - University of Phoenix/University of Arkansas
Dr. Rodney Williams - University of Dallas
Dr. Joanne Hix - Dallas Baptist University
Join us for an informative and interactive discussion in which we present an overview of several university professor's learning and teaching practices that promises to inspire, inform, and reveal techniques, tips, and tricks used in the digital college classroom. Walk away with an overview and array of ideas that can be incorporated or adapted into corporate training contexts including such items as online engagement, LMS features, student engagement and assessment, learning tools, content, and more. These differences (and similarities) will be explored at the institutional, platform, and instructor level as well as overreaching themese and philosophies.
*Feel free to arrive at 11:45am to network and get settled prior to the meeting start.
*There is a cafeteria in the building and also a PotBelly Sandwich shop one block away.
