How we can all make the workplace a better place to be

What makes a company one we love working for verses one from which we just get a paycheck? What’s the limit on the impact of a company like that? Employee Engagement is the buzz around the business world today. Few companies do it well and more research is showing how important it is for business success. We will discuss Employee Engagement, the strategy, the impact and the difference you can make.

About the speaker:
Betsy Nicholas is a member of the client development team at Symbolist, an employee engagement firm. She works with clients helping them design and implement the best solutions that make their workplace the best place to be. She has been a business catalyst in every one of her business endeavors – taking the lead and inspiring and driving change in people and organizations for years. In addition to reward and recognition program design, Betsy uses the work she put into her Master's degree to develop curriculum to train individuals and teams for lasting change.

All members of Dallas ASTD are welcome to attend any SIG any time. All non-members please feel free to join us for up to 2 sessions at a SIG. After 2 sessions, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will be expected to join Dallas ASTD by paying the annual dues of $115.
